Jiayi Zhou

Hi! I am Jiayi Zhou, a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at Hong Kong Baptist University, advised by Prof. Kaiyang Zhou.

Prior to that, I was a research assistant in the same group at HKBU. I received my Master’s degree from the social computing lab at Hiroshima University, advised by Prof. Yasuhiko Morimoto, Prof. Sayaka Kamei and Prof. Koji Eguchi, and I obtained my B.S. from Beijing University of Chemical Technology.

My current research is on Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models and World Action Models (WAM). I am also broadly interested in topics like Diffusion Models and LLMs.
